PolicyWISE at Policy Live!

We are delighted to announce that PolicyWISE will lead a session at this September’s Policy Live event, hosted by Nesta and BIT.

Policy Live is a one-day event that brings together fresh perspectives from industry, academia, business, and policy to explore solutions to the UK's biggest social challenges.

Working with our friends from the Bennett Institute for Public Policy at the University of Cambridge we will be hosting the session “Resetting intergovernmental relations: what could this mean for cross-nation learning?”

We will present the innovative findings of our recent report and explain how its research can contribute to better relations between the UK’s governments, improved policy learning between nations and administrations, and the approach to how policy decisions are made between UK and devolved governments. The session will also draw on the findings of our cross-nation policy learning roundtable series.

Dewi Knight, Director of PolicyWISE, is looking forward to the event:

“Policy Live is one of the great events on the UK policy calendar. It challenges us as researchers and policymakers to learn new ways of doing policy and how evidence can inform that work.

“It’s a great privilege for PolicyWISE to be invited to lead a session. We spend our time looking to inform and improve policymaking through comparative research and analysis – this is an opportunity to share fresh evidence and research with an audience looking for new ways of working.

“We will highlight how a new model of collaborative governance, and a commitment to work together on shared areas of interest, can help the UK tackle some big societal challenges.”
